Leasing
Leasing is the bread and butter of our practice. SLG attorneys bring decades of combined real estate leasing experience representing both landlords and tenants in flex/industrial, office, life sciences, retail and other commercial property types. Whether a ground lease, triple net lease, gross lease, build-to-suit lease or a lease modification or renewal, we are equipped with the tools to achieve win-win outcomes in an efficient, cost-effective manner. To that end, we have prepared form commercial real-estate lease transactional documents, including a general form of lease, a form of lease agreements for national tenants, and specialized lease agreement forms to accommodate all users.

Real Estate Litigation
We handle all types of real estate litigation matters. We are experienced in construction litigation; claims arising out of real estate transactions; landlord/tenant disputes; default and termination notices; eviction proceedings; judgment confession; commercial loan foreclosures and workouts; and defense of lender liability claims.
Business Litigation
We regularly represent clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters. Our attorneys have litigated complex contract disputes, creditors’ rights matters, business torts, fraud claims, fraudulent conveyance cases, veil piercing and successor liability claims, directors’ and officers’ litigation claims, breach of fiduciary duty lawsuits, trademark infringement cases, restrictive covenant disputes, wrongful discharge actions, employment discrimination claims, and defended aviation and products liability suits. We handle actions in the Delaware courts, including corporate litigation in the Delaware Chancey Court.


Bankruptcy
Our attorneys have many years of experience representing landlords, real estate lenders, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, official and unofficial committees, and debtors, in bankruptcy cases, including in Delaware. They have routinely represented creditors in bankruptcy litigation, such as motions to obtain automatic stay relief, defending preference claims, defending against claims objections, prosecuting objections to the discharge of indebtedness and in involuntary bankruptcy cases. Our lawyers also have significant experience in cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, including representing foreign debtors in obtaining recognition of foreign bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
